Shipping & Returns

We can ship to virtually any address in the United States. We do not currently ship outside the United States.

***IMPORTANT:  ALL ORDERS ARE SHIPPED ON MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, AND WEDNESDAYS in order to avoid cold items sitting over a weekend.  If you need an order shipped on a day other than our normal shipping days, please contact our store by phone and we will work with you to expedite your order. Please note, there will be additional express handling charges added for all expedited orders.

When an order is placed, we will fill it from food that has been pre-packaged in our warehouse. The weights may vary slightly from what you have requested but you will be charged for the exact amount you receive. This may affect your order total by a slight amount up or down. Your final invoice will reflect the correct total of the order. A Handling fee of $2.50 will be charged for any size order. The handling fee is the cost of labor, labeling, boxes, tape and protection filler. This will be automatically calculated in your shipping cost total.

When you place an order, you can choose the shipping estimator for your order based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose.  Otherwise, you will see the shipping costs during the checkout process.  Please also note that the shipping rates for all items we sell are weight-based. We currently ship all products Priority Mail through USPS. If you need faster shipping, you may select that option during your checkout process. The weight of any item can be found on its detail page. All shipping estimates will include the $2.50 handling charge.

The "Store pick-up" option may be chosen if you are planning to pick the order up at our physical location. Please allow us 24 hours to process this order. If you need it sooner, we will be happy to oblige if you call and let us know what time you plan to arrive. We will need a minimum 2 hour lead time depending on the size of the order. Do not choose this option if you want us to ship the order to you at another location. There is no handling fee for this option.

ORDERING

Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via our website.

You can securely checkout with through our secure PayPal payment system using an echeck, debit or credit card including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. You do not need to have a registered PayPal account to use this service.  Please note that all credit card orders must be accepted by your credit card company before product is shipped.

Cashier Checks or Money Orders are also accepted, but no cash orders are accepted via the website, please. Sales tax will automatically be added to any applicable purchase.

GIFT CARDS

We currently offer electronic gift cards. You can purchase them from our website and the ecard number will be send to your email address.  This number can be used at the time of checkout and will be applied to your purchase total. We do not physically mail out any gift certificates at this time.

If you do not receive the ecard email, please be sure to double check your Junk folder or Spam folder to make sure it has not accidentally gotten trapped.  If you still cannot locate your number, please contact our customer service, and we will be happy to give you your ecard number over the phone.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY PROCESS

It usually takes 24 hours to receive and process your order. It is our discretion when an order can be shipped so please allow ample time for your order to be delivered safely.

RETURNS POLICY

We are licensed and inspected by the WI Department of Agriculture. This requires strict sanitation rules. Therefore our policy must be that we do not accept any returns. In case of a refused package, the customer will pay for return shipping.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

Upon shipping your order with USPS, Amish House Market certifies that the shipped items are in sellable conditional and free of damage. From time to time, damages will occur during shipment, in the event of a damaged shipment, it is the customer's responsibility to contact us within 24 hours to file a freight claim for the damaged merchandise. When accepting your delivery from USPS, please check all packages for damage, and note any damages on the Shipment Paperwork before signing. Without noting the damage with the carrier at the time of delivery Amish House Market cannot help rectify the situation.
